With soaring melodies, rich harmonies and plenty of drama, Tchaikovsky’s soul stirring Concerto No. 1 will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Pianist, Philip Chiu, takes the spotlight for this concerto. This concert also features Mozart’s Symphony No 35 “Haffner” — a vibrant and energetic work, originally conceived as a serenade, with a bright and exuberant tone, featuring a distinctive opening theme with octave leaps.
