WEEK 1: Explore the Arts
Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21
Ages: Students entering Grade 6 to entering Grade 8 in September 2026
Participants will receive a full immersion into the world of theatre production. This week-long program is designed for young people interested in musical theatre and performance. The week will lead to a musical theatre performance on Friday evening for friends and family on the Pentastar Stage!
No experience is needed, but activities are geared towards students who are comfortable with a fast-paced learning environment and who are excited to gain new skills.

Location: 109 University Ave. W (The Gallery at the Capitol Theatre)
Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm (9:00am-6:00pm on Friday,August 14)
Early drop-off and late pick-up available for additional cost.
Cost: $339 (includes tax) per camper
(includes pizza snack on Friday afternoon before the showcase)

Meet Ms. Nadia (Capitol Arts Camp Leader)
A long time performer and musician, Nadia is passionate about art, music education and musical theatre! After graduating from the University of Windsor with a degree in Theatre, she joined the Capitol team full time as the Capitol and Community Coordinator. Nadia has several years experience working with students of all ages, ranging from private vocal instruction to directing youth musical productions.
