COVID Screening and Vaccines

The Capitol Theatre is committed to the safety of our patrons, performers, and staff.  All upcoming concert series will meet all provincial and city public-health measures and provide our patrons with a comfortable and safe experience.

  • Effective January 4, 2022, the Province of Ontario requires the use of the enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code and the Verify Ontario app in settings where proof of vaccination is required.

     

    Attending an event at the Capitol Theatre? 

    Do not attend if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. Online COVID assessment

    All attendees aged twelve years or older must show ID and enhanced vaccine certificate to enter. Only enhanced vaccine certificates with mobile or printed QR codes will be accepted as proof of your 2 dose vaccination.

    Masks must be worn at all times in the building.

    The concession and bar area are currently closed.

    Public washrooms are open at a reduced capacity.

    The doors to the main theatre will be open 1 hour prior to show time.

    We encourage you to arrive 15-20 minutes earlier than the time you typically arrive at an event to accommodate for wait times at check in stations.

    Complete Your Arrival Check in Quickly:

    • Wear a mask upon arrival
    • Arrive with your enhanced vaccine certificate with mobile or printed QR code
    • Arrive with photo I.D. in hand
    • Have your seat assignment on your phone or printed

     

 

If you are unable to print your ticket assignment and vaccination registration in advance, please arrive with your printed proof of vaccination in hand or open on a mobile device and a Capitol Volunteer will assist you.
