The third annual Brewing for Comedy Festival concludes on Sunday,
September 14, 2025, with The Grand Finale at the Capitol Theatre — a
one-night-only filmed showcase bringing Windsor’s top comedians
together with acclaimed headliners from across North America.
Featuring Zach Martina, a powerhouse comedian known for his dark wit,
high-energy delivery, and commanding stage presence. Martina has been
featured at major festivals including 10,000 Laughs, Limestone, and
Gilda’s Laughfest, where he was named “Best of the Midwest.” His
comedy albums Skunkman and Not the Worst Dad both debuted at #1 on the
comedy charts and are played regularly on SiriusXM.
Produced by Windsor comedians through the Windsor Comedy Club, the
Brewing for Comedy Festival has grown from grassroots beginnings into
one of Windsor’s signature cultural events. The Grand Finale is both a
celebration of homegrown talent and a showcase of touring comedians
whose credits include CBC, CTV, Crave, Netflix, and Just for Laughs.
