A celebration of our country and our region! The concert opens with Fanfare by Jordan Pal, composed for Canada 150. Excerpts from Because We All Lived Here, a poetry collection that tells the stories of the towns and districts that now make up Windsor, will be read between movements of Brahms’ Variations on a Theme of Joseph Haydn. The celebration concludes as more than 150 chorus members and four outstanding soloists join the WSO for Beethoven’s monumental Symphony no. 9.
