The Windsor-Essex Music Advisory Council, In partnership with The Arts Council of Windsor and Region are proud to present our next event in the Music Windsor-Essex education series – Navigating the U.S. border.
Our geographic proximity to one of the busiest border crossings in North America and one of the top music markets in the United States provides the Windsor-Essex Music Ecosystem with a tremendous opportunity. Utilizing this opportunity can at times be confusing and intimidating. As a direct response to your feedback, we have assembled a panel of experts to help you get the most out of cross-border opportunities for musicians and music workers.
– Have a question? Ask the experts directly. The panel will include accomplished touring artists, music workers, border security, music union officials, and immigration lawyers.
– Topics will include Tips for getting U.S. bookings, traveling with instruments, border crossing best practices, Visa requirements on both sides of the border, and more!
