Community Strings Concert

St Mark’s-by-the-Lake Community string Ensemble formed in 2015. The ensemble is made up of enthusiastic amateur musicians who meet weekly for a fall and winter season at St. Marks-by-the-Lake Church in Tecumseh. Our goal is to enjoy making music and prepare a performance worthy to share with our friends and family.

The ensemble is directed by Nicholas Penny, a violist in the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.  Nicholas and his wife Michele Dumoulin also run Sunnyside Strings, a private studio with almost forty violin and viola students, group lessons, and an annual summer chamber music session.
